\n\tThe London TV Screenings isn\u2019t going anywhere.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe content and sales market, launched five years ago by independent distribution giants All3Media<\/a> International, Banijay Entertainment, Fremantle and ITV Studios, is coming off a banner 2025, with a record 850 buyers worldwide attending last week\u2019s event.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe founders confirmed plans are already under way for next year\u2019s edition, which will be held in the final week of February 2026.<\/p>\n

\n\tLondon has quickly established itself as the must-attend spring market for the international TV industry and slipped nicely into the gap left by the demise of long-running Cannes-based event MIPTV. The 2025 line-up included more than 35 distributors and studios running independent events. Alongside the four organizers, London featured a who\u2019s who of studio and independents including Warner Bros. International Television Production, Disney, NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution, Sony Pictures Television, Paramount Global Content Distribution, Amazon MGM Studios Distribution, Cineflix Rights, Fifth Season, Studiocanal and Beta Film.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe showcase is now a go-to destination for unparalleled insights into the latest premium shows and formats,\u201d said a London Screenings representative. \u201cWe look forward to planning an exceptional event for 2026 \u2013 which will be tailored to the feedback we\u2019ve heard from buyers and their experiences across the week.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t2025 event highlights included the return of Andrew Lincoln to British TV. The Walking Dead<\/em> star took the stage at the ITV Studios presentation to unveil his upcoming Brit thriller Cold Water<\/em>. Fremantle pitched its new adventure tale Sandokan<\/em> featuring Turkish star Can Yaman, Banijay Entertainment showcased Maigret<\/em>, a modern-day update of the iconic French detective novels, and All3Media International launched action thriller The Assassin<\/em>, starring Keeley Hawes and Freddie Highmore.<\/p>\n

\n\tOther standouts included Cineflix Rights\u2019 Sunny Nights<\/em>, the new series<\/a> from Colin from Accounts<\/em> showrunner Trent O\u2019Donnell starring Will Forte and D\u2019Arcy Carden; and Studiocanal\u2019s A Prophet<\/em>, a small-screen reimagining of Jacques Audiard\u2019s iconic 2009 prison drama.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn the non-fiction and format side, Banijay launched its new docuseries 7\/7: The London Bombings<\/em> and reality dating challenge 30 Dates and 30 Nights<\/em>; All3Media pitched knockout competition Chess Masters, Fremantle introduced its game<\/a>show reimagining of Scrabble<\/em>; and ITV Studios showcased Celebrity Sabotage<\/em>, a prime-time hidden camera prank show.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
