A representative for the US Bureau of Prisons reportedly said that Sam Bankman-Fried\u2019s interview with Tucker Carlson was not app<\/a>roved by the agency.<\/p>\n

Former FTX CEO Sam \u201cSBF\u201d Bankman-Fried has reportedly been sent to solitary confinement after taking part in an interview with right-wing political commentator Tucker Carlson, which was not approved by prison authorities.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis particular interview was not approved,\u201d a representative for the US Bureau of Prisons told<\/a> The New York Times on March 7.<\/p>\n

According to a person briefed on the situation, after Bankman-Fried\u2019s interview with Carlson was published, he was sent to solitary confinement at Brooklyn\u2019s Metropolitan Detention Center, where he has been held since August 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n
