Two new additional cast members and an ending theme<\/a> song have been revealed for the upcoming first part of <\/span>Fire Force<\/span><\/i> Season 3<\/span>. The <\/span>anime<\/a>\u2019s first cour<\/span> will begin airing in Japan on April 4, 2025, with the second part airing in January 2026.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The two new cast members include <\/span>Yoko Hikasa<\/b> as Gold and <\/span>Masaki Aizawa<\/b> as Dragon.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, Japanese hip-hop group <\/span>Umeda Cypher<\/b> are performing the <\/span>third season<\/span>\u2019s main ending theme song \u201cUrusiren.\u201d Meanwhile, the opening theme is \u201cHigh Flame\u201d by <\/span>QUEEN BEE<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Some production staff changes were announced for the third season. <\/span>Sei Tsuguta<\/b> (<\/span>Undead Unluck, Sk8 the Infinity Extra Part<\/span><\/i> co-scriptwriter) is supervising and writing the anime\u2019s screenplay, and<\/span> Mika Yamamoto<\/b> (<\/span>Tiger & Bunny: The Rising<\/span><\/i> co-character designer) as the new sub-character designer.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Yoshihiro Yoshioka<\/b> and <\/span>Mariko Kubo<\/b> join <\/span>Yumenosuke Tokuda<\/b> as chief animation directors, while <\/span>Yumi Horikoshi<\/b> (<\/span>86 Eighty Six <\/span><\/i>co-background art director) is the new art director and<\/span> Koji Kodera<\/b> (<\/span>RWBY Ice Queendom<\/span><\/i> modeling set-up, <\/span>Urusei Yatsura<\/span><\/i> remake 3DCGI animator) as the new CG director. <\/span>Ryo Ohashi <\/b>is now credited as VFX supervisor (after just being credited under \u201cVFX\u201d) and <\/span>Natsuki Takei <\/b>(Season 1 assistant compositing director, Season 2 co-assistant compositing director) is the compositing director of photography. <\/span>David Production<\/b> is in charge of the animation production for the series<\/a> once again.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Yuki Yase<\/b> (<\/span>Mekakucity Actors<\/span><\/i>) directed the first season while <\/span>Tatsuma Minamikawa<\/b> (<\/span>Wave, Listen to Me!<\/span><\/i>) directed the second season and is returning to direct the third. <\/span>Yamato Haijima <\/b>wrote the screenplay for the first season and Minamikawa handled them for the second season. <\/span>Hideyuki Morikawa<\/b> is working as character designer for season three, with <\/span>Naoko Sato<\/b> as color designer.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The anime has inspired two 24-episode seasons. The first season aired from July 6, 2019 to December 28, 2019. The second season aired from July 4, 2020 to December 12, 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fire Force<\/span><\/i> is based on <\/span>Atsushi Ohkubo<\/b>\u2019s manga of the same name, which ran in Kodansha\u2019s Weekly Shonen Magazine from September 23, 2015 to February 22, 2022. A total of 34 tankobon volumes were released. Kodansha USA releases the series in English for North America.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Crunchyroll licensed the anime series for North America and streamed in several countries outside of Asia as it aired. It describes the main synopsis as:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tokyo is burning, and citizens are mysteriously suffering from spontaneous human combustion all throughout the city! Responsible for snuffing out this inferno is the Fire Force, and Shinra is ready to join their fight.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n
