However, due to privacy concerns, the app was not currently available in the EU until December 2023. Until the end of 2023, you had to delete your Instagram account, according to Meta\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/help.instagram.com\/515230437301944\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">\u201cSupplemental Privacy Policy\u201d<\/a> to delete your Threads account. Meta keeps your data for 30 days after the initial deletion request. The company is also testing a way to create custom feeds by adding specific profiles and terms to a new feed. For the longest time, the social network\u2019s own algorithmic \u201cFor You\u201d feed was the default feed for users, but now you can set any feed to default. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meta\u2019s newest social platform also got inspired by rival social network Bluesky and made its own version of \u201cStarter Packs\u201d \u2014 lists of people to follow based on different themes.
