2Pac\u2018s extremely rare lyrics and recordings have now been put on sale to the highest bidder.<\/p>\n
TMZ<\/a><\/em>was the first major outlet to notice that the online auction site Moments In Time is selling<\/a> what they\u2019re billing as \u201cUnknown Tupac Songs and Recordings.\u201d<\/p>\n AD LOADING…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The auction site explains: \u201cIn late 1990\/early1991 Tuapc composed and recorded an unreleased album for a group called Jesse and the Kidz. It was never released due to the tragic death of one of the band members. Not only are the lyrics totally unknown-the recordings of 3 of the album\u2019s songs with Tupac in the lead are as well.\u201d<\/p>\n Photos reveal that the package comes with handwritten lyrics and a cassette containing three songs: \u201cLeave Us Kidz Alone,\u201d \u201cStreetz Got Ya Babies\u201d and \u201cBedtime Storiez.\u201d<\/p>\n No price is listed on the auction site, but\u00a0TMZ\u00a0<\/em>reports that the lyrics and recordings are available for $250,000. That price gets the buyer only the lyrics and recordings \u2014 not the rights to reproduce or profit from them.<\/p>\n In other recent Pac news<\/a>, his alleged killer\u00a0Duane \u201cKeefe D\u201d Davis\u00a0has claimed that he is innocent of the crime and has instead accused a former security guard for\u00a0Suge Knight\u00a0of orchestrating the rapp<\/a>er\u2019s murder.<\/p>\n Speaking to\u00a0ABC News<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in his first interview since being\u00a0arrested in 2023, the former gang leader maintained that he was not involved in the 1996 killing of the \u201cCalifornia Love\u201d hitmaker.<\/p>\n \u201cI did not do it,\u201d he said, before downplaying prosecutors\u2019 case against him. \u201cThey don\u2019t have nothing. And they know they don\u2019t have nothing. They can\u2019t even place me out here. They don\u2019t have no gun, no car, no Keefe D, no nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n Keefe D also claimed that he was hundreds of miles away in Los Angeles the night 2Pac was fatally shot on the Las Vegas strip<\/a> \u2014 and has \u201cabout 20 or 30 people\u201d who can corroborate his alibi at trial.<\/p>\n The accused killer went on to accuse\u00a0Reggie Wright Jr., an ex-Compton police officer and former head of security at Death Row Records, of being the mastermind behind the murder, labeling him and his security company \u201cmercenaries.\u201d<\/p>\n Wright Jr., who previously testified in front of the grand jury that would charge Keefe D with 2Pac\u2019s murder, hit back at the claims.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s heartbreaking they keep dragging in my name. I didn\u2019t have anything to do with that. One of the worst days of my life when I heard that that happened,\u201d he told\u00a0ABC News<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cKeefe D confessed to Tupac\u2019s murder to the LAPD in 2008, to the Las Vegas Metro PD in 2009 and then publicly from 2018-2023 on BET, multiple YouTube<\/a> interviews, and in a book about his life, and is only now using the media to slander me because he finally got arrested and has no other defense.\u201d<\/p>\n Keefe D further disputed prosecutors\u2019 claims that orchestrated the killing of 2Pac by saying that the author of his 2019 memoir\u00a0Compton Street Legend<\/em>\u00a0had embellished the facts.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve never read the book,\u201d he said. \u201cI just gave him details of my life. And he went and did his little investigation and wrote the book on his own.\u201d<\/p>\n The 61-year-old also claimed that he only confessed to the killing to detectives so that he and others could avoid drug charges.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s the only way you\u2019re walking free.
