\n A cement truck rear-ended a Ford Fusion in Queens Saturday morning, sending the car into a pole in a crash that killed the 30-year-old man who was driving, police said.<\/p>\n

The car\u2019s 27-year-old female passenger was injured but survived; police did not immedia<\/a>tely identify the dead man or injured woman.<\/p>\n

Cops responded to a 911 call of a collision at 232nd Street and South Conduit Avenue in Laurelton at 10 a.m. and found the unconscious, unresponsive driver with head trauma and the passenger with chest and back injuries.<\/p>\n

Police said the man was driving the car eastbound on South Conduit when \u201che passes a cement truck and then the truck rear-ends the Ford Fusion, which loses control and slams into a pole,\u201d an NYPD spokeswoman said.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old cement truck driver was not injured and remained at the scene, police said.<\/p>\n

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at Franklin General<\/a> Hospital and the woman was transported to Jamaica Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition, police said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
