\n Aria DiMezzo calls herself a \u201ctranssexual Satanist anarchist,\u201d and someday soon she hopes her New Hampshire county will call her \u201cSheriff.\u201d<\/p>\n

DiMezzo is already beating the odds, winning the GOP nomination in the sheriff\u2019s race despite her libertarian leanings, her title of \u201cHigh Priestess of the Reformed Satanic Church, and her decidedly non-law-and-order campaign slogan: \u201cF\u2013k the Police.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo you\u2019re mad. I get it,\u201d DiMezzo blogged Friday about all the hate mail she\u2019s been receiving since news<\/a> got out of her nomination in Cheshire County.<\/p>\n

But \u201cI was always upfront about who I am,\u201d she said of her nomination, which she partly credits to the same kind of \u201cIt\u2019s all broken\u201d sentiments that got President Trump elected.<\/p>\n

And as for anyone who voted for her without knowing anything about her, she had this to say: \u201cI didn\u2019t think that so many voters were just \u2026 completely and totally oblivious about who they are voting for.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour anger is with the system that has lied to you. Your anger is with the system that convinced you to believe in it, trust it, and have faith in it, when it is completely and utterly broken.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some 4,000 people cast votes for DiMezzo in the Sept. 8 primary.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
