Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys have been married nearly 15 years, but according to the Grammy Award-winning producer \u2013 they\u2019ve never had an argument.<\/p>\n

In a new interview with US Magazine<\/a><\/em>published on Thursday (March 20), Swizzy explained that because their communication is so on point, things have never escalated beyond a disagreement.<\/p>\n

\u201cMarriage is definitely a big word, but look at it like your best friend,\u201d he said. \u201cThe communication is there. We\u2019ve never had an argument. Since we\u2019ve been together, our kids [have] never seen it; never seen us raise our voice [or] never seen us yell. Never seen us curse at each other. Why? Because of communication.\u201d<\/p>\n

Noting that of course they \u201cdisagree on things,\u201d he added:\u00a0\u201cWhen you yell at each other, no one is really listening anyway. Nothing gets solved in each other\u2019s yelling.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople think they can own people. You can\u2019t. It\u2019s not property that you own. There\u2019s a whole human, right? So, we\u2019re very clear on that. She\u2019s her own boss. I\u2019m my own boss. That\u2019s how we make magic when we come together. I think that helps because people start getting very territorial and making their partner property, and I think that\u2019s the biggest mistake.\u201d<\/p>\n

Back in November, Swizz Beatz crowned his wife the \u201cfemale Dr. Dre\u201d while sharing an unreleased track she produced for Meek Mill.<\/p>\n

A clip shared by Swizz brings fans into the undated studio session, where Alicia can be seen playing piano and making the beat as Meek records some bars.<\/p>\n

But the pair\u2019s interests have branched out beyond music in recent years. In 2023, Alicia Keys filed a trademark to launch a new tea brand, \u201cAlicia Teas,\u201d which was inspired by a gift from her husband.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0TMZ<\/em>,<\/a> the \u201cNo One\u201d singer\u2019s Alicia Worldwide company has filed a trademark for Alicia Teas to launch her tea line in the near future looking to shake up the beverage industry.<\/p>\n

Swizz may have been the one to put the battery in Keys\u2019 back to go forward with the line, as he gifted his wife her own brand of tea bags in 2020 for her birthday and manifested that the brand would one day be sold in Starbucks locations across the globe.<\/p>\n

\u201cHapp<\/a>y birthday we got endless amount of teas and everybody in Starbucks around the world you\u2019re gonna see Alicia Teas,\u201d Swizz said at the time. \u201cBlessings, happy birthday, baby. Love you!\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair also recently released a massive coffee table book titled Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys<\/em> on the Phaidon Books imprint last June.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
