The STUDIO4\u2103<\/strong>-produced Future Kid Takara <\/em>anime<\/a> will have its world premiere on September 25 JST at the Osaka-held Expo 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

The screening will take place from 3 PM JST TO 4:30 PM JST at the EXPO Hall (also known as Shine Hat).<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to this announcement, Future Kid Takara <\/em>received a teaser trailer and visual and some other new information<\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 It is now a short-form series<\/a> with 11 episodes instead of a movie.
\u2022 Yuki Kaji<\/strong> is voicing the titular Takara.

As the trailer shows, there will also be some live-action footage in the educational, global warming-theme<\/a>d series.<\/span><\/p>\n

Future Kid Takara <\/em>was announced in 2023. It had a Kickstarter campaign that year to produce a roughly 15-second pilot clip and to set up \u201ca STUDIO4\u2103 fan community to share the film\u2019s progress with fans.\u201d The <\/span>Kickstarter page includes the following description:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Future Kid Takara\u00a0<\/span>will be an action-packed, family-oriented film set in a dystopian future. The adventure story will feature a girl named Sara who is time warped into the year 2100, where she and the protagonist Takara try to navigate a world ravaged by the effects of global warming. (Title and story subject to change)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The project raised\u00a03,323,185 yen (~US$22,000) with the Kickstarter.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond Future Kid Takara<\/em>, other upcoming STUDIO4\u2103 productions include the original movie <\/span>ChaO<\/em> and a film adaptation of All You Need Is Kill<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n
