Redman has revealed he doesn\u2019t kick it with his longtime collaborator Method Man when they\u2019re not working \u2013 but it\u2019s still all love between them.<\/p>\n

App<\/a>earing on a new episode of the Julian Dorey Podcast<\/em>, the New Jersey legend was quick to say \u201cHell no!\u201d when asked whether he still hangs out with his How High<\/em> partner.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do shows and we come back home,\u201d he explained. \u201cI don\u2019t hang out with a lot of rappers at all. This is work, this is home. We\u2019re very inclusive with our movement. Once we\u2019re off the road, we\u2019re like, \u2018Alright. You got family to deal with, I got shit I gotta do.\u2019 My circle is very small. So we all have different lives. I don\u2019t hang out with rappers. I might call<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of MCs who I\u2019m connected with. Of course Wu[-Tang Clan] is my crew or whatever, but there\u2019s a lot of artists that we might chop it up on the phone \u2013 but no. The only artists I hang out with is my boy DoItAll from Lords of The Underground and Treach if I see him in the hood and that\u2019s about it. And Kid Capri. Kid Capri is my big bro. I talk to him and go see him all the time. But he\u2019s not a rapper though. He\u2019s a DJ. One of the best.\u201d<\/p>\n

As it pertains to work, though Redman would love to get back in the booth with Method Man for Blackout! 3<\/em> \u2013 but Meth has other plans.<\/p>\n

Sitting down with Red Bull for their Red Bull Spiral<\/em><\/a> series<\/a> in November, the pair discussed their storied careers and what they\u2019d like to do next.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to do a Blackout! 3<\/em>, Maybe like 12 songs,\u201d Red said.<\/p>\n

Meth replied: \u201cWe are not even focused on no Blackouts!<\/em> or any of that shit right now. Brother, we are focused on this TV and movie stuff and producing as well. We\u2019ve got to get these stories out there.\u201d<\/p>\n

The duo dropped their platinum-selling debut album Blackout!<\/em> in 1999, a commercial success that launched at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 254k copies sold. Blackout! 2<\/em> followed 10 years later, which also saw a top 10 debut.<\/p>\n

Since then, fans have eagerly been awaiting a third installment \u2013 and at one point, it appeared to be a reality.<\/p>\n

During an interview in 2014, the pair alleged Blackout! 3<\/em> was coming in the next few months.<\/p>\n

However, that clearly didn\u2019t happen, and the pair have since moved on to other ventures. For Meth, that namely includes acting, and he now has over 100 credits to his name.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
