The second volume of <\/span>Samuel Sattin<\/b> and <\/span>Gurihiru<\/b>\u2019s new <\/span>Unico <\/span><\/i>graphic novel titled <\/span>Unico: Hunted <\/span><\/i>is set to be released on July 1, 2025. The new series<\/a> reimagines <\/span>Osamu Tezuka<\/b>\u2019s original 1976 manga<\/a> of the same name\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Unico: Hunted <\/span><\/i>serves as a follow-up to last year\u2019s <\/span>Unico: Awakening<\/span><\/i> and adapts the original manga\u2019s chapter \u201cBlack Rain and White Feathers.\u201d It was first announced at last year\u2019s San Diego Comic Con.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The new <\/span>Unico<\/span><\/i> graphic novel series is published by Scholastic\u2019s Graphix comic book imprint. It is written by Sattin and illustrated by artist duo Gurihiru, who have worked on comic series such as <\/span>Gwenpool<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Spider-Man & Venom: Double Trouble<\/span><\/i>. The series is developed in collaboration with <\/span>Tezuka Productions<\/b> and features full-color artwork and left to right pages in the Western comics style that matched the original manga.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The series is the <\/span>first ever manga publication from Scholastic<\/span>, with multiple volumes planned to be released in 12 languages.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
