Milan Records has announced that the three lead singles from the upcoming <\/span>Lazarus<\/span><\/i> TV anime<\/a> series<\/a> are now available on music streaming platforms, which include <\/span>Kamasi Washington<\/b>\u2019s <\/span>main opening theme<\/a><\/span> \u201cVortex.\u201d The 13-episode anime will premiere in Japan and the U.S via Adult Swim\u2019s <\/span>Toonami block<\/span> on April 6, 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to Washington\u2019s opening theme, the two other tracks that can now be streamed come from British musicians and producers <\/span>Bonobo <\/b>and <\/span>Floating Points<\/b>. Each artist has contributed a full-length soundtrack to the show, with all three albums set for release on April 11, 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Lazarus<\/span><\/i>\u2019 main opening theme song, \u201c<\/span>Vortex<\/span><\/a>,\u201d is described as an \u201cambitious multi-suite jazz number that shifts between choral-punctuated ensemble movements, virtuosic saxophone solos, and a searing electric guitar climax.\u201d The song was hand-selected by series director <\/span>Shinichiro Watanabe<\/b> to be the main theme and can be heard in the newly released opening sequence for the show.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
