6ix9ine is on the hook for a cool $250k after a federal judge ruled that he breached a contract for a 2018 gig when he failed to show up \u2013 and instead performed at a competing gig hours away.<\/p>\n

According to documents obtained by AllHipHop<\/em><\/a> on Friday (March 28), the U.S. District Court in D.C. ordered the rainbow-haired rapp<\/a>er to pay compensatory damages to Hits Before Fame LLC and After Hours LLC for pulling a no-show at a sold-out Howard University homecoming event in October 2018.<\/p>\n

The Brooklyn native was paid nearly $60k upon signing the contract, but never made it to the actual event. He\u2019d even done a video promoting his appearance.<\/p>\n

Instead, he performed hours later at Power 105\u2019s Powerhouse concert at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the event he skipped had ticket sales surpassing $165k and more than 3,000 fans lined up outside, only to learn the show was cancelled just 30 minutes before showtime.<\/p>\n

Promoters for the event also tried to get damages for defamation as 6ix9ine used the excuse that he\u2019d never gotten money for the event as to why he didn\u2019t show. The judge denied that one, however, arguing he may have been referring to his then-manager Shotti not giving him the money.<\/p>\n

In other news<\/a>, 6ix9ine has claimed that both guns and drugs have been seized from his home in Florida after a raid by federal agents.<\/p>\n

Speaking to TMZ<\/em><\/a>, the controversial rapper claims that authorities swarmed his house on March 12 and kept him in handcuffs for six hours.<\/p>\n

The Brooklyn native also says DNA swabs were taken from the weapons and drugs and that his house was left wrecked from the raid.<\/p>\n

Despite the findings, 6ix9ine claims that he has not been involved in any further illegal activity.<\/p>\n

The Palm Beach Sheriff\u2019s Office confirmed that probation officers, as well as narcotics detectives, conducted a raid on the rapper\u2019s property with a search warrant.<\/p>\n

The Sheriff\u2019s office claims that the raid was part of a probation check. They added further analysis is required on the confiscated items, although they did not confirm whether that included guns and drugs.<\/p>\n

6ix9ine was not arrested during the raid and was only handcuffed for officer safety reasons.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
