\n Lakers guard Rajon Rondo has been known to talk a little trash. But Saturday night it was his brother William that got ejected from Los Angeles\u2019 Game<\/a> 5 win over Houston following a verbal altercation with Rockets star Russell Westbrook.<\/p>\n

Before the Lakers eliminated Houston with a 119-96 win in Lake Buena Vista (Fla.), William Rondo had already been removed from the family section and escorted out of AdventHealth Arena by security as Westbrook watched.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople at the game, you\u2019re supposed to shut your mouth and watch the game,\u201d Westbrook said afterwards. \u201cThat\u2019s the rules, especially when you have families and people here. App<\/a>arently, I guess because Rondo was talking s\u2013t, (William) decided he wanted to hop in, too.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut it\u2019s OK. I mean, you know, it\u2019s all good. I get it. He wanted to take up for his brother, I don\u2019t know what. But that\u2019s it. But those rules stand for everybody, though, no matter who it is \u2013 family, whatever. But when you cross that line, then he\u2019s supposed to be at home. There\u2019s no rules or regulations for that.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe started talking crazy. I don\u2019t play that game.\u201d<\/p>\n

And what exactly was this crazy talk that crossed the line?<\/p>\n

According to the Lakers guard, it wasn\u2019t crazy at all.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe didn\u2019t do anything crazy. He called the man \u2018trash,\u2019 \u201d said Rajon Rondo. \u201cFans do what fans do. He\u2019s my brother first. He didn\u2019t do anything disrespectful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whether that\u2019s disrespectful is open for debate \u2013 but the NBA had the last word. The league had warned guests not to be verbally aggressive at the games or to enter the floor. William Rondo \u2013 who\u2019s in charge of the barbers, manicurists and hair braiders at the bubble \u2013 apparently crossed that line.<\/p>\n

Westbrook and Rajon Rondo had been going back and forth before William Rondo threw oil on the verbal fire. Westbrook appeared to ask William Rondo what he said, and the latter waved goodbye to the soon-to-be-eliminated guard.<\/p>\n

But it was William Rondo that left first, escorted out by security.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t the first time Westbrook has had a verbal altercation with a fan. Last season playing for Oklahoma City, he had a heated exchange with a courtside fan in Utah.<\/p>\n

The fan Shane Keisel had told Westbrook to \u201cget on your knees like you\u2019re used to.\u201d Westbrook responded by telling him \u201cI\u2019ll f\u2013k you up.\u201d The fan got banned by the Jazz, and Westbrook fined $25,000 by the NBA.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
