{"id":659628,"date":"2025-03-30T23:25:14","date_gmt":"2025-03-30T20:25:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/perplexity-ceo-denies-having-financial-issues-says-no-ipo-before-2028\/"},"modified":"2025-03-30T23:25:14","modified_gmt":"2025-03-30T20:25:14","slug":"perplexity-ceo-denies-having-financial-issues-says-no-ipo-before-2028","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/perplexity-ceo-denies-having-financial-issues-says-no-ipo-before-2028\/","title":{"rendered":"Perplexity CEO denies having financial issues, says no IPO before 2028"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p id=\"speakable-summary\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.perplexity.ai\">Perplexity<\/a> CEO Aravind Srinivas recently took to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reddit<\/a> to <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/perplexity_ai\/comments\/1jm2ekd\/message_from_aravind_cofounder_and_ceo_of\/\">address users\u2019 product complaints and reassure them<\/a> that the company is not under serious financial pressure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Srinivas seemed to be responding, in part, to <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/perplexity_ai\/comments\/1jlbks7\/theory_perplexity_is_cranking_cost_saving_up_to\/\">a user theory<\/a> that the company is \u201cdoing horribly financially\u201d and \u201cmaking lots of changes to cut costs.\u201d As an example, the theorizer pointed to Perplexity\u2019s Auto mode, where the AI search engine automatically selects the model with which to answer a user\u2019s prompt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the contrary, Srinivas said Perplexity created Auto mode because \u201call AI products right now are shipping non-stop and adding a ton of buttons and dropdown menus and clutter,\u201d which he said is \u201cnot sustainable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe user shouldn\u2019t have to learn so much to use a product,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As for whether Perplexity is facing pressure to cut costs or IPO, Srinivas said, \u201cWe have all the funding we\u2019ve raised, and our revenue is only growing.\u201d In fact, he said the company has \u201cno plans of IPOing before 2028.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
