\n\tBruce Springsteen will release seven \u201clost\u201d albums as part of an extensive box set to come out this summer. <\/p>\n

\n\tSpringsteen is releasing Tracks II: The Lost Albums <\/em>on June 27 through Sony Music, the singer announced Thursday morning, made up of an overwhelming 83 songs across seven different records recorded between 1983 and 2018. The collection comes 27 years after Springsteen dropped the first \u201cTracks\u201d collection back in 1998, though the first edition was demos and unreleased songs, not full complete albums.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Lost Albums <\/em>were full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released,\u201d Springsteen said in a statement Thursday. \u201cI\u2019ve played this music to myself and often close friends for years now. I\u2019m glad you\u2019ll get a chance to finally hear them. I hope you enjoy them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe first album in the set is the 18-track LA Garage Sessions \u201983, <\/em>recorded between his two seminal albums Nebraska <\/em>and Born in the U.S.A. <\/em>The other six records are Streets of Philadelphia Sessions, Faithless, Somewhere North of Nashville, Inyo, Twilight Hours <\/em>and Perfect World. <\/em>Springsteen released a first taste of the set, the Perfect World <\/em>song \u201cRain in the River,\u201d on Thursday as well. The set is available for pre-order <\/a>now. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe ability to record at home whenever I wanted allowed me to go into a wide variety of different musical directions,\u201d\u00a0Springsteen said. The LA Garage Sessions<\/em>, for example, is described as \u201clo-fi exploration,\u201d while North of Nashville <\/em>is country-influenced and Twilight Hours <\/em>is billed as \u201corchestra-driven mid-century noir. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe box set announce comes as 20th Century Studios continues to ready its Springsteen biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere<\/em>, with Jeremy Allen White starring. Springsteen visited the set back in January, praising what he\u2019d seen of White\u2019s performance. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cJeremy is such a terrific actor that you just fall right into it,\u201d Springsteen said on SiriusXM\u2019s E Street Radio. <\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
