{"id":661586,"date":"2025-04-09T05:53:55","date_gmt":"2025-04-09T02:53:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/young-scooter-laid-to-rest-at-atlanta-funeral\/"},"modified":"2025-04-09T05:53:55","modified_gmt":"2025-04-09T02:53:55","slug":"young-scooter-laid-to-rest-at-atlanta-funeral","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/young-scooter-laid-to-rest-at-atlanta-funeral\/","title":{"rendered":"Young Scooter Laid To Rest At Atlanta Funeral"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"body-copy js-entry-text \" itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n<p>Young Scooter has been laid to rest in Atlanta, just over one week after he passed from a fatal injury to his leg.<\/p>\n<p>The late r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>er\u2019s homegoing ceremony took place at Saint Philip AME Church on Monday (April 7), and it was full of friends, family and supporters celebrating his life.<\/p>\n<p>Scooter\u2019s teen son wore a new chain dedicated to his dad, which includes his picture inside a gold book that\u2019s flooded with diamonds.<\/p>\n<p>He will be buried later this week in his hometown of Walterboro, South Carolina.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"instagram-embed\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DIKN1pURKFr\/embed\" width=\"320\" height=\"600\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"instagram-embed\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DIKWWzYRgcq\/embed\" width=\"320\" height=\"600\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>An autopsy confirmed that Young Scooter (real name Kenneth Bailey) died from an injury to his leg caused when he was attempting to jump a fence while fleeing the police.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-player\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ad-background\" src=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/assets\/img\/DX-City_Silhouette.png\" alt=\"HipHopDX | Rap &amp; Hip Hop News | Ad Placeholder\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-indicator-container\">\n<div class=\"ad-indicator\">AD<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"border\">\n<div class=\"ad-border-top\">\n<div class=\"left-border\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-loading-text\">\n<p>AD LOADING&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"right-border\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-border-bottom\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"vc-player\" class=\"video-player\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-indicator\">AD<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cMr. Bailey sustained a penetrating injury of his right thigh that created marked blood loss,\u201d the report reads. \u201cThis injury was not a gunshot wound.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The autopsy contradicts conspiracy theories that had begun to circulate online that the 39-year-old rapper had been fatally shot by cops.<\/p>\n<p>The police\u2019s presence were a result of a 911 call that has now been confirmed as a hoax \u2013 resulting in the caller\u2019s subsequent arrest.<\/p>\n<p>Demetria Spence, better known as <em>Baddies<\/em> contestant Demi Blanco, was arrested by Atlanta police on April 1 and charged with transmitting a false public alarm that caused \u201cserious bodily harm or death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She was later released on a $7500 bond.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on Instagram Live before her arrest, Spence claimed there is more to the story and that she called because she was being abused.<\/p>\n<p>However, her call said something completely different \u2013 as she claimed that she had just witnessed a naked woman being dragged out of the house and attacked by at least one male.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt sounded like they were fighting over drugs,\u201d she says. \u201cThe girl is hurt. She was bleeding profusely from her head [\u2026] She\u2019s trying to get away and she\u2019s being held hostage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also claimed to be \u201cneighborhood watch,\u201d then alleged that a shooting broke out: \u201cShe had someone come over there and they started shooting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also raised concerns about child endangerment, claiming that the female victim \u201chas a baby,\u201d and said she has long suspected that the house was a drug den or home to a prostitution ring.<\/p>\n<p>But when police officers arrived at the property, however, they did not find any evidence of the disturbing scene described in the call, according to <em><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2025\/03\/31\/young-scooter-911-audio-atlanta-police-swatting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TMZ<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
