Bitpanda secures its third MiCA license in Austria, expanding its regulatory footprint across the EU as questions emerge over multi-license necessity.<\/p>\n

Austrian fintech unicorn Bitpanda has secured its third license under the European Union\u2019s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) framework, further expanding its regulatory footprint across the bloc.<\/p>\n

Bitpanda on April 10 announced receiving a new MiCA license from Austria\u2019s Financial Market Authority (FMA), its third after app<\/a>rovals from regulators in Germany and Malta.<\/p>\n

Its latest approval marks \u201canother step toward building the most regulated crypto platform in Europe,\u201d the exchange said in an announcement on X.<\/p>\n
