Netflix<\/span> has announced it has renewed the <\/span>Devil May Cry<\/span><\/i> animated series<\/a> for a second season. The first season began streaming on Netflix starting April 3, 2025 and contained eight total episodes. It was not announced when the second season will premiere.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The new series is inspired by <\/span>CAPCOM<\/b>\u2019s popular hack-and-slash game<\/a> series of the same name. The animation\u2019s showrunner, executive producer, creator <\/span>Adi Shankar<\/b> (<\/span>Castlevania<\/span><\/i> executive producer) told IGN in 2018 that it \u201cwill join Castlevania in what we\u2019re now calling the bootleg multiverse.\u201d Studio Mir<\/strong> is in charge of the animation production for the series.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
