{"id":662078,"date":"2025-04-11T01:54:35","date_gmt":"2025-04-10T22:54:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/stripe-ceo-says-he-ensures-his-top-leaders-interview-a-customer-twice-a-month\/"},"modified":"2025-04-11T01:54:35","modified_gmt":"2025-04-10T22:54:35","slug":"stripe-ceo-says-he-ensures-his-top-leaders-interview-a-customer-twice-a-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/stripe-ceo-says-he-ensures-his-top-leaders-interview-a-customer-twice-a-month\/","title":{"rendered":"Stripe CEO says he ensures his top leaders interview a customer twice a month"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p id=\"speakable-summary\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Digital payments platform S<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>e invites customers to join its management team meetings on a bi-weekly basis so it can get \u201ccandid feedback,\u201d according to co-founder Patrick Collison.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/patrickc\/status\/1909715810727374899\">an April 8 post on X<\/a>, the fintech giant\u2019s CEO said the company has a customer join for the first 30 minutes of the meeting, which is attended by about 40 leaders \u201cfrom across Stripe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEven though we already have a lot of customer feedback mechanisms, it somehow always spurs new thoughts and investigations,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s an interesting strategy from Stripe, which was founded in 2010 and is considered to be the highest valued private fintech in the world (its most recent valuation was $91.5 billion).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the years, startups have complained anecdotally that Stripe is more focused on its larger customers than the smaller ones it set out to serve. But the company must be doing something right.\u00a0 Stripe\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/stripe.com\/gb\/annual-updates\/2024\">annual letter<\/a> in February penned by Collison noted that payment volume in 2024 grew to $1.4 <em>trillion<\/em>, up 38% on the year before.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stripe also added in the letter that it is now used by half of the Fortune 100 companies, underscoring how it has catapulted from a startup working with other startups, into a major enterprise player.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the post on X, Collison responded to <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/dok2001\/status\/1909727479951941670\">Cloudflare CTO\u2019s question<\/a> of when his company would get an invite with a, \u201cWould love to have you guys\u2026will reach out.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To the point of smaller businesses feeling neglected, one investor <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/2pasc\/status\/1909998777546535034\">wrote<\/a>: \u201cHi Patrick \u2013 you know I admire<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/stripe\"> @Stripe<\/a> \u2013 but you should pay attention to the extent things have degraded for the indie community using Stripe. I messaged support a week ago \u2013 no reply, things are super complicated. There\u2019s more stuff, but it\u2019s a mess.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many praised the move with one <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JacobJaber\/status\/1909716163992732115\">user<\/a> noting: \u201cLove this. Keeps the culture focused on what matters and helps reconciles (sic) reality.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And, naturally, some Stripe customers used the X post to post their complaints (<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/no_fear_inc\/status\/1909722965442544129\">here<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/mark9CP\/status\/1910158469660897319\">here<\/a>).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, one high-profile founder seemed to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>rove of Stripe\u2019s approach: Elon Musk <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1910245371621634523\">replied<\/a> to the post with a simple, \u201cGood idea.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
