Another peek of the Science<\/a> SARU<\/strong>-produced The<\/em> Ghost in the Shell<\/em> anime<\/a> is here. It takes the form of a visual<\/a> of the famous cyborg Motoko Kusanagi, drawn by Shuhei Handa<\/strong> (Scott Pilgrim Takes Off<\/em> co-character designer), and a teaser video.<\/span><\/p>\n

Handa is also the anime\u2019s character designer and executive animation director. Other newly revealed members of the main staff lineup include director Mokochan<\/strong> (DAN DA DAN<\/em> assistant director) and series<\/a> composer and script<\/a>writer EnJoe Toh<\/strong> (Godzilla Singular Point<\/em>, author of books like Self-Reference ENGINE <\/em>and Code Buddha<\/em>).<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, a message from The Ghost in the Shell<\/em> creator Shirow Masamune<\/strong> was released. In it, Masamune remarks that \u201cAnime adaptation-wise, this new THE GHOST IN THE SHELL marks the fourth version following those by Oshii, Kamiyama, and Kise. Alternatively, if we separate GHOST IN THE SHELL and Innocence, categorize the S.A.C. series into Seasons 1, 2, and Solid State Society, divide ARISE into its own series along with The New Movie, and split SAC_2045 into Seasons 1 and 2, this would be the tenth adaptation overall.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
