Keefe D claimed that he was merely \u201cstanding his ground.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Keefe has been in police custody since September 2023 when he was charged with orchestrating the murder of 2Pac, which marked the first arrest in the decades-old case.<\/p>\n<p>He is expected to remain behind bars until his trial begins in February 2026. The ex-Compton Crip has pleaded not guilty to one count of murder with use of a deadly weapon.<\/p>\n<p>In his first interview since his arrest, Keefe D claimed that a former bodyguard of Suge Knight was the mastermind behind \u2018Pac\u2019s 1996 killing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI did not do it,\u201d he said to <em><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/exclusive-jailhouse-abc-interview-tupac-shakur-murder-suspect\/story?id=119501261\" target=\"_blank\">ABC News<\/a><\/em> in March, before downplaying prosecutors\u2019 case against him. \u201cThey don\u2019t have nothing. And they know they don\u2019t have nothing. They can\u2019t even place me out here. They don\u2019t have no gun, no car, no Keefe D, no nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>Related Box Error: Post ID Or Slug Incorrect, No Post Found!<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Keefe also claimed that he was hundreds of miles away in Los Angeles the night 2Pac was fatally shot on the Las Vegas s<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>, and has \u201cabout 20 or 30 people\u201d who can corroborate his alibi at trial.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged killer instead IDed Reggie Wright Jr., an ex-Compton police officer and former head of security at Death Row Records, of ochestrating the murder, labeling him and his security company \u201cmercenaries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wright Jr., who previously testified in front of the grand jury that would charge Keefe D with 2Pac\u2019s murder, hit back at the claims.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s heartbreaking they keep dragging in my name. I didn\u2019t have anything to do with that.
