Asked by co-host Treasure \u201cStat Baby\u201d Wilson for their top three white rappers, Ma$e answered: \u201cWho\u2019s the guy from Philly that\u2019s signed to Jadakiss [Millyz]? Eminem first, of course. And then you got MGK or Yelawolf. Who you think is better, Killa?\u201d<\/p>\n
Cam replied: \u201cI\u2019ma go MGK \u2019cause he\u2019s my man. No disrespect to Yelawolf, I just don\u2019t know a lot of his music.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ma$e also gave an honorable mention to the Beastie Boys, but felt compelled to amend his list after forgetting about one white rapper in particular.<\/p>\n
\u201cI forgot about Jack Harlow! I gotta do my list over. Jack Harlow is definitely up there,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Cam\u2019ron issued a more thoughtful answer, saying: \u201cWell, Eminem\u2019s definitely number one for me. And then you gotta think about people who pushed the culture forward for white rappers in a time where white rappers really<\/em> wasn\u2019t being accepted.<\/p>\n\u201cI\u2019ma go with 3rd Bass as a group [\u2026] It\u2019s not like they had Eminem lyrics and shit, but they had the Black community when it was really hard for a white person to excel in the Black community. People were like, \u2018Fuck outta here\u2019 when Vanilla Ice came around.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Dipset legend added: \u201cMy third pick is \u2014 God bless the dead \u2014 Mac Miller [\u2026] Jack Harlow\u2019s definitely up there as well but I wouldn\u2019t put him above the three people that I named. I think he\u2019s at the fourth spot, but I think he\u2019s really, really dope.\u201d<\/p>\n
Cam also admitted that he \u201cwasn\u2019t really a big Beastie Boys fan, to be totally honest with you. To me, they were more rock \u2018n\u2019 roll than rap.\u201d<\/p>\n
