her <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earance at this year&#8217;s Super Bowl, where she joined Kendrick Lamar during his halftime show and crip walked during his performance of &#8220;Not Like Us.&#8221;\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            Williams has been named one of <i>Time<\/i> magazine\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/collections\/100-most-influential-people-2025\/7273813\/serena-williams\">100 Most Influential People of 2025<\/a> and was asked about stepping onto the field and taking part in the huge occasion. She said she and Kendrick has been \u201ctrying to do something together for ages,\u201d but that she was initially confused by his idea for her the role she would play in the show.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Wait, what, you\u2019re asking me?\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m not Taylor Swift, let\u2019s be honest. I would have a better chance to be quarterback at the Super Bowl than dance.\u201d\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            The fact that she might never get the same invite again ultimately led her to accept. \u201cWho would have thought that a tennis player from Compton would be regarded as one of the best tennis players of all time?\u201d she asked. \u201cIt was just putting an exclamation on it.\u201d\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            Williams was also asked if she thought her involvement was a move to further antogonize Drake, someone she has been romantically linked to in the past. \u201cAbsolutely not. I would never do that,\u201d she responded. \u201cAnd that was sad, that anyone would ever think that. I respect how they could. Obviously, I can see how someone would think that. But absolutely not.\u201d She added: \u201cI have never had negative feelings towards him. We\u2019ve known him for so many years.\u201d\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            However, Williams admitted she is not entirely sure she made the right decision is getting in front of the cameras, telling the magazine \u201cI don\u2019t know if I regret it or not. I don\u2019t know the answer to that.\u201d\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            Drake is currently suing his label UMG for defamation over &#8220;Not Like Us.&#8221; He scored a win in court earlier this month when a judge denied the label&#8217;s request to stay discovery in the case, granting Drake and his lawyers access to certain documents and to conduct depositions.
