Rusty Rabbit<\/em>, the 2.5D side-scrolling action-adventure game<\/a> from writer\/creator Gen Urobuchi<\/strong>, is now available. It had a delay in 2024 before arriving at its current April 17, 2025 launch on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.<\/span><\/p>\n

A special artwork, featuring rabbit protagonist Stamp and his voice actor Takaya Kuroda<\/strong>, was released to commemorate both the game\u2019s release and Kuroda\u2019s 60th birthday. The art was created by Kanaban Graphics<\/strong>, the game\u2019s character designer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rusty Rabbit <\/em>takes place on a future, frozen Earth where rabbits are the current dominant species. Stamp is a middle-aged rabbit who enters some ruins in a mech and \u201cdiscovers information about his estranged daughter, hinting at her peril and revealing hidden truths about the world he once believed in.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The game started as a hobby project of Urobuchi, known for his involvement in titles like Fate\/Zero<\/em> (light novel author), Puella Magi Madoka Magica<\/em> (script<\/a>s), Thunderbolt Fantasy<\/em> (creator et al.) and Phantom PHANTOM OF INFERNO<\/em> (scenario writer).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rusty Rabbit <\/em>is produced by Nitroplus<\/strong>, which Urobuchi is part of, and published by NetEase Games<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
