\n\tPropulsive Korean action drama A Shop for Killers<\/em> has been renewed for a second season at Disney+. <\/p>\n

\n\tBased on a novel of the same Korean title by Kang Ji-young, A Shop for Killers<\/em> follows Ji-an, a woman raised by her uncle, a mysterious mercenary. After her uncle\u2019s app<\/a>arent death, she inherits his deadly weapons shop\u2014and his enemies. As assassins close in, flashbacks reveal her uncle\u2019s brutal past.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason two will feature returning Korean stars Lee Dongwook (Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938<\/em>) and Kim Hyejun (Connect, Kingdom<\/em>) and see the addition of Japanese actors Masaki Okada (Drive My Car, We\u2019re Millenials. Got a Problem?<\/em>) and Hyunri (Pachinko, The Naked Director<\/em>). Lee Kwon (Save Me 2, Door Lock<\/em>) and writers Ji Hojin and Lee Kwon also return for the sophomore season.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe eight-part first season of A Shop for Killers<\/em> debuted on Disney+ (Hulu in the U.S.) in January 2024, and it has been another big hit for Disney+\u2019s Korean originals team, following the likes of writer Kang Full\u2019s superhero drama Moving<\/em> and his mystery horror series<\/a> Light Shop <\/em>in becoming one of the most-watched shows for the streamer in the Asia-Pacific region. A Shop for Killers<\/em> currently holds a 98 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and 100 percent critic score. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe second season will stream on Disney+ internationally and Hulu in the U.S., although a launch date hasn\u2019t yet been released. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
