The Commission is still deciding whether it will accept Meta\u2019s \u201cless-personalized ads\u201d option.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both Apple and Meta said they would appeal the EU\u2019s decisions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EU has also issued cease-and-desist orders against the companies at a time when tensions are high between the bloc and the U.S. over trade policies and President Donald Trump\u2019s support for Ukraine wanes.
