The will also allocates over $50 million and several Las Vegas properties to undisclosed trusts tied to recipients he aimed to surprise.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notably, Hsieh also earmarked $3 million for his alma mater Harvard University, the storied institution that\u2019s currently battling with the Trump administration, which has <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/04\/22\/us\/trump-harvard-legal-case.html\">frozen billions of dollars<\/a> in federal funding and is <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.semafor.com\/article\/04\/16\/2025\/donald-trump-plans-to-target-elite-university-endowments-over-investments-in-china-and-esg\">reportedly<\/a> giving Harvard\u2019s endowment a closer look. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The will\u2019s discovery adds another bizarre element to the already <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ktnv.com\/news\/lawsuit-settled-between-tony-hsieh-estate-and-former-associate\">strange <\/a>legal battle over Hsieh\u2019s estate following his November 2020 death in a house fire at age 46.
