The roundtable event on crypto custody marked one of the first times Paul Atkins spoke as the new chair of the SEC since being sworn in on April 21.<\/p>\n
In one of his first app<\/a>earances as the recently sworn-in chair of the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Paul Atkins delivered remarks to the agency\u2019s third roundtable discussion of crypto regulation.\u00a0<\/p>\n In the \u201cKnow Your Custodian\u201d roundtable event on April 25, Atkins said<\/a> he expected \u201chuge benefits\u201d from blockchain technology<\/a> through efficiency, risk mitigation, transparency, and cutting costs.
