\n An eyewitness to the ambush attack on two Los Angeles County deputy sheriffs mocked the wounded cops and laughed that they were \u201caired out,\u201d a troubling video posted on Twitter<\/a> shows.<\/p>\n

The man was among several people seemingly celebrating the shooting moments after it happ<\/a>ened, with one man heard yelling \u201cno justice, no peace\u201d as one of the wounded deputies attempts to stand up.<\/p>\n

\u201cThem n\u2014-s just got aired out. They just bust on them n\u2014-s, cuz. That\u2019s crazy,\u201d the man, wearing a yellow hoodie, is seen saying on video posted to Twitter and retweeted by FOXLA correspondent Bill Melugin.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomebody bust on the police, n\u2014-. Two sheriffs shot in the face. They trip<\/a>pin\u2019. It\u2019s going up in Compton,\u201d the man says. \u201cSomebody ran up on the corner and bust on their ass, right through the window, in the fact and all, n\u2014-. It\u2019s a wrap.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two deputies \u2014 a 24-year-old man and a 31-year-old mother of a 6-year old and \u2014 were shot around 7 p.m. Saturday by an unidentified gunman. Both emerged from surgery and are expected to survive, LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva announced.<\/p>\n

But the shooting exposed the sharp division in the city, with demonstrators gathering outside the hospital Sunday chanting, \u201cwe hope they die.\u201c\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
