\n\tKirk Medas, reality star from MTV\u2019s Floribama Shore<\/em>, has died. He was 33.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tMedas died Friday following complications with liver failure, his father told TMZ<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic passing of Kirk Medas, a beloved member of the Floribama Shore<\/em> family,\u201d an MTV spokesperson shared in a statement to THR<\/em>. \u201cOur hearts go out to his family, friends and fans during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMedas joined the cast of Floribama Shore<\/em>\u2019s first season in 2017. He starred in the series<\/a> during its four-season run on MTV before it was canceled. He was one of the show\u2019s main castmembers alongside Aimee Hall, Nilsa Prowant, Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Kortni Gilson, Candace Rice and Gus Smyrnios.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAlongside Prowant, Hall and Buoni, Medas was featured in a special Fear Factor<\/em> episode where the Floribama Shore<\/em> cast competed against Jersey Shore: Family Vacation<\/em>\u2019s Deena Nicole Cortese, Snooki, Pauly D and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. He also app<\/a>eared in the comedy miniseries Everybody Hates Kyle<\/em> in 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Thursday, Floribama Shore<\/em> star Hall shared on Instagram<\/a> that her \u201cfriend Kirk has been in the ICU for over two weeks now, battling a severe case of necrotizing pancreatitis.\u201d There, she also shared a GoFundMe<\/a> to aid with Medas\u2019 \u201coverwhelming expenses,\u201d which fellow co-star Prowant also posted on her Instagram profile.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing the news<\/a> of Medas\u2019 death, Hall posted a tribute where she wrote that she had \u201clost a brother, a best friend and heaven gained the most beautiful angel.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe are all trying to process this unimaginable loss. Kirk was the glue that held us all together. He loved each and every one of us so deeply, with a heart bigger than this world,\u201d she wrote in the caption of the post. \u201cOne sweet day, I know we\u2019ll all be together again. Until then, I\u2019ll miss him every single day.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
