Jeezy was reportedly threatened with jail time by a judge if he continued to not comply with the terms of his divorce deal with Jeannie Mai.<\/p>\n

According to a report from In Touch Weekly<\/a><\/em>, the Atlanta rapp<\/a>er appeared in court on Monday (April 28), where the judge found he had \u201cwillfully failed\u201d to deliver the title of a 2021 Range Rover to his ex wife.<\/p>\n

The judge also denied Jeezy\u2019s attempt to collect lawyer fees from Jeannie, and according to the outlet, \u201cwarned that future failure to comply with the court\u2019s order may result in sanctions, which he said could be in the form of incarceration.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former couple\u2019s divorce was finalized last summer and has been anything but amicable, with allegations of domestic abuse and gatekeeping their daughter being thrown around.<\/p>\n

A few months after it was finalized, Mai filed paperwork accusing Jeezy of not complying with the settlement, which included failing to pay childcare costs for their daughter, depositing $500k in an account for her, transfer the title of two cars to Mai and cover four months of rent.<\/p>\n

He then hit back saying he had a \u201chard time\u201d confirming the lease agreements that Jeannie provided his team were legitimate, and that she\u2019s trying to \u201cembarrass, humiliate and disparage\u201d him by leaking details of their issues to the press. He also claimed the DMV had been slow on transferring the titles and that one of the cars had been damaged by an \u201cact of god.\u201d<\/p>\n

In turn, he wanted his ex to pay the $20k legal fees he acquired for \u201cdefending himself\u201d \u2013 which is mainly what this week\u2019s court appearance was about, as all other issues have reportedly since been rectified.<\/p>\n

As noted, his request was denied.<\/p>\n

In other news<\/a>, Jeezy was recently hit with a countersuit from one of his former managers after filing a suit against him earlier this year over a financial dispute.<\/p>\n

According to court documents obtained by The Jasmine Brand<\/em><\/a>, Solomon Fornie says he saved Jeezy\u2019s career and personal finances when they began working together in 2015 and believes he was never properly compensated.<\/p>\n

\u201cI put my finances, my credit, and my reputation on the line to rebuild Jenkins\u2019 career from the ground up,\u201d he wrote in the docs. \u201cHe went from foreclosure to Forbes, and now he wants to pretend I was never there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Among many things, he says he paid off Jeezy\u2019s homes, covered payroll for his businesses and even borrowed $400k to keep operations running.<\/p>\n

He says he\u2019s not only never been repaid for that, but he also worked without commission for five years \u2013 and he wants what he\u2019s owed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
