The Tougen Anki<\/em> TV anime<\/a> is set to premiere in Japan on July 11 JST.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was also announced that its<\/span> ending theme<\/a> is \u201cWhat is justice?\u201d by BAND-MAID<\/strong>, and that there will be an advance screening of the first three episodes on June 21 JST at United Cinemas Toyosu.<\/span>

Tougen Anki<\/em>\u00a0is based on the Akita Shoten-published manga by\u00a0Yura Urushibara<\/strong>, which started serialization in Weekly Shonen Champion in 2020 and has 23 tankoubon volumes as of April 2025. Yen Press describes the manga\u2019s synopsis as:<\/span><\/p>\n

Shiki Ichinose\u2019s blood is Oni, and his father\u2019s is Momotarou. Normally, those with Momotarou blood hunt the Oni\u2014but Shiki\u2019s father refused to kill him as an infant. Instead, he adopted Shiki and raised him despite the rebellious attitude and dangerous temper that come with Oni blood. When a member of the Momotarou Agency kills Shiki\u2019s father, Shiki vows to avenge him. But as he hones his abilities and learns to control his Oni blood, will he be strong enough to survive the dangers waiting for him\u2026?\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Tougen Anki\u00a0<\/em>previously inspired a stage play adaptation, which is described as being the first phase of the\u00a0Tougen Anki<\/em> project (the anime is the second phase). The anime\u2019s world premiere will be at AFA Indonesia 2025, which runs from June 6 to June 8.<\/span><\/p>\n
