\n\tThree Doors Down\u00a0lead singer Brad Arnold has revealed he\u2019s been diagnosed with stage 4\u00a0kidney cancer.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe musician took to his Instagram on Wednesday to share \u201csome not so good news<\/a>\u201d in a video, adding, \u201cI\u2019ve been sick a couple of weeks ago and then went to the hospital and got checked out.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tThat\u2019s when Arnold \u201cgot the diagnosis that I had clear cell renal carcinoma that had metastasized into my lung. And that\u2019s stage 4, and that\u2019s not real good.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDespite the diagnosis, the \u201cKryptonite\u201d singer said he has \u201cno fear\u201d going into treatment as he turns to his faith. \u201cWe serve a mighty God, and he can overcome anything. So I have no fear. I really, sincerely am not scared of it at all, but it is going to force us to cancel our tour this summer and we\u2019re sorry for that,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd I\u2019d love it if you lift me up in prayer every chance you get.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tClear cell renal cell carcinoma is the most common type of kidney cancer in adults, making up about 80 percent of all renal cell carcinoma cases, according to the National Cancer Institute<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tArnold also added in the post\u2019s caption, \u201cThank you for all the memories so far. Now, I believe \u2018ITS NOT MY TIME\u2019 is really my song. This\u2019ll be a battle so we need our prayers warriors! Thank y\u2019all for being the best fans in the world. We love y\u2019all! Brad.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to Arnold, the rock band 3 Doors Down is currently comprised of members Chris Henderson, Greg Upchurch, Chet Roberts and Justin Biltonen. The group is most known for their songs \u201cKryptonite,\u201d \u201cWhen I\u2019m Gone,\u201d \u201cHere Without You,\u201d \u201cLet Me Go\u201d and \u201cIt\u2019s Not My Time,\u201d the latter of which the lead singer references in the Instagram video.<\/p>\n
