An 11th new \u201c<\/span>Kaiju Hyakkei<\/span>\u201d seasonal showcase visual has been unveiled for the <\/span>upcoming second season<\/span> of <\/span>Kaiju No. 8<\/span><\/i>. Season two is expected to premiere in Japan sometime in July 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The main staff, returning from the first season, include <\/span>Shigeyuki Miya<\/b> (<\/span>Afterlost, The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior<\/span><\/i>) and <\/span>Tomomi Kamiya <\/b>(<\/span>A Good Librarian Like a Good Shepherd, Hikari: Kariya wo Tsunagu Monogatari<\/span><\/i>) as directors, <\/span>Ichiro Okouchi<\/b> (<\/span>Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury, Code Geass<\/span><\/i>) as series<\/a> screenwriter, <\/span>Tetsuya Nishio <\/b>(<\/span>Naruto, Vampire in the Garden<\/span><\/i>) as character designer, <\/span>Mahiro Maeda<\/b> (<\/span>SSSS.GRIDMAN, Evangelion 3.0+1.0<\/span><\/i> co-director and concept art director et al.) as kaiju designer, <\/span>Studio Khara <\/b>as kaiju supervisor (design and artwork), <\/span>Shinji Kimura<\/b> (<\/span>Children of the Sea, Blood Blockade Battlefront<\/span><\/i>) as art director, and <\/span>Yuta Bandoh<\/b> (<\/span>Belle <\/span><\/i>co-composer) as music composer. <\/span>Production I.G <\/b>is in charge of the animation production.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
