Kanye West has been called out by his former collaborator, John Legend, for his antisemitic and anti-Black comments.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Times<\/em><\/a>, Legend did not hold back when discussing his former GOOD Music boss.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cHe had so much optimism, so much creativity\u2026 I didn\u2019t see a hint of what we\u2019re seeing now, his obsessions with antisemitism, anti-Blackness, and it is sad to see his devolution.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cGreen Light\u201d singer also claimed that he believed that West started to change after his mother\u2019s death in 2007.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI don\u2019t think we\u2019re qualified to psychoanalyse him, but after his mother passed in 2007, there was definitely a difference. His descent started then and seems to have accelerated recently.\u201d<\/p>\n

Legend previously revealed that their relationship began to fracture after he refused back West\u2019s campaign for president.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cWhat I was saying was that he was very upset with me that I didn\u2019t support him running for President, and that was the real impetus for us having a strain in our friendship. I don\u2019t know what will happ<\/a>en in the future, but he was very upset with me that I didn\u2019t support him and I supported Joe Biden. It\u2019s up to him whether he can get past that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kanye West told a similar story during his\u00a0Drink Champs<\/em>\u00a0appearance last year, saying at the time: \u201cBoth John Legend and Big Sean, when I ran for office, got used quick by the Democrats to come at they boy that actually changed their life. And that\u2019s some sell-out shit. And I don\u2019t rock with neither of them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Legend is not the only former close associate to turn away from West over his erratic behavior and controversial political views in recent years.<\/p>\n

Big Sean has had a fractured relationship with his one-time mentor in recent years after West claimed the worst thing he had ever done at GOOD Music was sign the Detroit MC.<\/p>\n

He said on Drink Champs<\/em>: \u201cI already decided that when I die, on my tombstone it\u2019s gonna say, \u2018I deserve to be here because I signed Big Sean.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know this man\u2019s mama. I\u2019ve changed this man\u2019s family. And both John Legend and Big Sean, when I ran for office, got used quick by the Democrats to come at they boy that actually changed they life, and that\u2019s some sellout shit. And I don\u2019t rock with neither of them, and I need their apologies.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
