They become the target of assassins and other opps in a movie based on the stories of real-life robber barons. Director Celine Song certainly does with her follow-up to the quietly devastating <i>Past Lives<\/i>, giving lovers of meet-cutes and big gestures some much needed food.  <i>Materialists<\/i> stars Dakota Johnson as a professional matchmaker who finds herself unable to solve her own love life. She is torn between Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal in a situation many might say is a problem they could live with.
