Diddy\u2018s former assistant, George Kaplan, has been granted immunity by the prosecution to testify against his former boss.<\/p>\n

Kaplan was subpoenaed to app<\/a>ear in court and amid fears that he could plead the fifth amendment while on the stand, they offered him immunity from prosecution if he agreed to answer questions in court.<\/p>\n

Kaplan cannot now be prosecuted if he committed any criminal wrongdoing while in the employ of Diddy but he can be charged with perjury if he lies to the court.<\/p>\n

When he testified, Kaplan detailed how part of his job was to make preparations for the freak offs.<\/p>\n

He described how he would set up hotel rooms with items for sexual relations including lube.<\/p>\n

He would also have to tidy up after Diddy and his companions had finished in the hotel rooms.<\/p>\n

Kaplan also testified that Diddy would ask him for drugs but did not specify which narcotic.<\/p>\n

Kaplan will resume on the stand today (22 May) to finish answering questions from the prosecution before he is then cross-examined by Diddy\u2019s attorneys.<\/p>\n

Kid Cudi is also scheduled to testify at Diddy\u2019s sex trafficking trial as early as today.<\/p>\n

Cudi\u2019s relationship with Cassie has been a recurring theme\u00a0throughout the first two weeks of Diddy\u2019s highly publicized trial.<\/p>\n

Cudi and Cassie briefly dated in 2011 behind Diddy\u2019s back.<\/p>\n

During her own testimony, Cassie claims the relationship began when her and Diddy were \u201cnot in the greatest place\u201d.<\/p>\n

She testified that Diddy discovered her relationship with the \u201cPursuit of Happiness\u201d rapper during a freak off session after he went through her phone and found emails that she had sent to a member of his staff.<\/p>\n

Cassie then described Diddy\u2019s alleged reaction to discovering the affair, claiming that the record executive put a corkscrew between his knuckles and \u201clunged\u201d at her.<\/p>\n

She claimed that he became \u201csuper angry\u201d and \u201chis eyes blacked out\u201d.<\/p>\n

It has also been claimed that Diddy was responsible for blowing up Cudi\u2019s car, something the Cleveland native appeared to corroborate after Cassie initially filed her lawsuit against her former boyfriend in November 2023.<\/p>\n

Diddy has denied being behind Cudi\u2019s car being attacked.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
