Last week, Elon Musk\u2019s AI chatbot Grok experienced a \u201cbug\u201d that made it tell users about the \u201cwhite genocide\u201d conspiracy theory in South Africa, even when prompted with questions that had nothing to do with the topic\u2026 and soon after, Grok expressed skepticism over the Holocaust death toll, which it chalked up to a \u201cprogramming error.\u201d <\/p>\n

But with a degree of mental gymnastics that could put Simone Biles to shame, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has decided<\/a> that Elon Musk\u2019s robot baby Grok is too far left.<\/p>\n

\u201cGrok is left leaning and continues to spread fake news<\/a> and propaganda,\u201d Greene<\/a> wrote on X.<\/p>\n

She shared a screenshot in which Grok says that Greene is a Christian who has expressed her belief in Jesus, but concedes that some Christians are troubled by her support for conspiracy theories like QAnon.<\/p>\n

\u201cCritics, including religious leaders, argue her actions contradict Christian values of love and unity, citing her defense of January 6 and divisive rhetoric,\u201d Grok wrote in the screenshot Greene shared.<\/p>\n

X was already having a particularly challenging day \u2014 the app<\/a> has been experiencing outages for hours, which could possibly be related to fires that broke out in its Oregon data center<\/a> yesterday. <\/p>\n

But while Greene may be a known peddler<\/a> of harmful misinformation and conspiracies, she did actually make a great point<\/a> in the end.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen people give up their own discernment, stop seeking the truth, and depend on AI to analyze information, they will be lost,\u201d she said on X.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
