Especially since 1986\u2019s\u00a0<em>Top Gun<\/em>, he has continued to push the limits of his body and acting, taking on his own stunts in most of his top films, including <em>Mission: Impossible<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The Last Samurai<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Jack Reacher<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tMost recently, Cruise took on several death-defying stunts in 2025\u2019s <em>Mission: Impossible \u2013 The Final Reckoning<\/em>\u00a0and 2023\u2019s <em>Mission: Impossible \u2013 Dead Reckoning Part One<\/em>, including dangling from an upside-down plane as well as driving a motorcycle off a cliff and parachuting to safety.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe actor has previously said during an <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earance on\u00a0<em>The Graham Norton Show<\/em>\u00a0that he has been \u201cdoing different stunts\u201d since he was a child and that once he got into acting, he wanted to keep doing it to help with the \u201cstorytelling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cI feel that [when] acting you\u2019re bringing everything, you know, physically and emotionally, to a character in a story,\u201d he explained at the time. \u201cAnd I\u2019m able to do it [stunts], and I\u2019ve trained for 30 years doing things like this that it allows us to put cameras in places where you normally are not able to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tMore recently, during a\u00a0conversation at Cannes\u00a0in 2022, Cruise reiterated that he enjoys performing his own stunts despite the danger, only this time he referenced one of the best athletes of Hollywood\u2019s golden era.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph Impossible<\/em> franchise in 1996, Cruise reportedly never swapped out for a stuntman in one particular scene involving an aquarium. In the sequence, Ethan Hunt, who would become one of Cruise\u2019s most well-known characters, intentionally blows up a giant aquarium that stretches the length from the floor to the ceiling to help get away quickly. But she revealed that during one scene, his luck was tested once again. The actress said in one action sequence when she was driving and Cruise was in the passenger seat, the stunt coordinator tasked her with driving really fast down a road and then taking a sharp turn.
