VIZ Media<\/a><\/span> has announced the license acquisition of <\/span>One-Punch Man<\/span><\/i> Season 3, which includes several rights in multiple countries and territories. The third season is scheduled to premiere in Japan in October 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The license acquisition for the company includes theatrical, television, digital, home entertainment, ancillary, and merchandise rights across North America, Latin America, and Oceania. More details regarding streaming availability in VIZ Media territories will be announced later in the coming weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n

VIZ describes the premise of the <\/span>third season<\/span> as:\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Saitama is a hero who only became a hero for fun.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

After three years of \u201fspecial training,\u201d he\u2019s become so strong that he\u2019s practically invincible. In fact, he\u2019s too strong\u2014even his mightiest opponents are taken out with a single punch. Alongside Genos, his faithful disciple, Saitama performs his official hero duties as a member of the Hero Association.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

One day, monsters claiming to be from the Monster Association suddenly app<\/a>eared, taking a child of Hero Association executive hostage. The S-class heroes gather and plan a raid on the Monster Association hideout to rescue the hostage. Meanwhile, Garou, a \u201fhuman monster\u201d who was taken by the Monster Association during a battle with the heroes, awakens in the Monster Association hideout.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

The production team for the third season includes some returning staff from season two. They include <\/span>Tomohiro Suzuki<\/b> as screenwriter, <\/span>Chikashi Kubota<\/b>, <\/span>Shinjiro Kuroda<\/b> (<\/span>Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy<\/span><\/i> Season 2 Episode 4 and 5 prop design assistant),<\/span> Ryosuke Shirakawa<\/b> (<\/span>Tsurune, Spy x Family<\/span><\/i> Season 1, <\/span>A Silent Voice <\/span><\/i>key animator) as character designers, and <\/span>Makoto Miyazaki <\/b>as music composer. <\/span>J.C.STAFF<\/b> is handling the animation production after working on the second season.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
