Cetus may recover $162 million in stolen funds if the Sui community app<\/a>roves a governance vote, with a full user fund recovery plan already in motion.<\/p>\n

Sui-based decentralized exchange Cetus may be one step closer to recovering the funds lost in a recent exploit, pending the outcome of a community governance vote scheduled to end June 3.<\/p>\n

Cetus was exploited for over $220 million worth of digital assets on May 22. Shortly after the incident, Cetus managed to freeze $162 million of those funds.<\/p>\n

In a May 27 post<\/a> on X, Sui said Cetus had requested a community vote to approve the recovery of the frozen funds. <\/p>\n
