Kendrick Lamar\u2018s \u201cLuther\u201d and \u201cNot Like Us\u201d have finally had their historic chart runs ended.<\/p>\n

\u201cLuther\u201d, which had been at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for a record breaking thirteen weeks, has been deposed by Morgan Wallen and Tate McRae\u2019s \u201cWhat I Want\u201d.<\/p>\n

The hit single has now slid down to number five on the chart after originally being released last November.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot Like Us\u201d, which last week broke the record for most weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 for a rap song, has also fell off the chart entirely.<\/p>\n

It had previously spent a record 52 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.<\/p>\n

Kendrick did take another loss at the American Music Awards earlier this week where he was widely expected to clean up at the ceremony.<\/p>\n

While the Compton superstar did pick up a win for Favorite Hip Hop Song with \u201cNot Like Us\u201d, he was otherwise shut out at the ceremony.<\/p>\n

Lamar was nominated across five other categories including Artist of the Year but was beaten by Billie Eilish.<\/p>\n

Eilish also triumphed over Lamar in Album of the Year and Song of the Year.<\/p>\n

The biggest upset came in the Hip Hop categories with\u00a0Eminem\u00a0taking home both Favorite Hip Hop Artist and Favorite Hip Hop Album.<\/p>\n

Lamar and\u00a0SZA\u00a0were also nominated for Collaboration of the Year but beaten by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga with their smash hit \u201cDie With A Smile\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cDie With A Smile\u201d also beat \u201cNot Like Us\u201d to Favorite Music Video.<\/p>\n

Neither Kendrick nor Eminem attended the awards show in person.<\/p>\n

Despite failing to come out victorious at the AMA\u2019s,\u00a0Lamar has been breaking records left and right over the last year.<\/p>\n

A recent performance by Kendrick and SZA on their Grand National Tour in Seattle grossed $14.8 million meaning Dot became the first rapp<\/a>er to ever break the $14 million mark for a single concert.<\/p>\n

It was the most attended gig on the tour so far with almost 61,000 fans attending.<\/p>\n

Kendrick broke his own record with the feat after a performance at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas brought in a whopping $11.822 million in a single night.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
