Check out a video for the title track, directed by Geneva Peshka and featuring animation by Jenny Scales, below.<\/p>\n<p>The Resistance Revival Choir was founded in 2017 following the Women\u2019s March and works to elevate female voices, especially women of color. <em>This Joy<\/em> was recorded in New York City amid COVID-19 lockdown and Black Lives Matter protests. It features Rhiannon Giddens, Valerie June, and Deva Mahal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWorking with the chorus last year was one of the most healing and rejuvenating experiences I\u2019ve ever had in my life. It was simply love manifested,\u201d the album\u2019s producer, Tiffany Gouch\u00e9, said in a statement. \u201cYou can feel the joy and sincerity in their hearts through each and every record.
