Drake has been criticized by JPEGMAFIA over the subjects of his raps.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Billboard<\/em><\/a>, the alternative rapp<\/a>er called out the 6 God when addressing the state of Hip Hop.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cPeople yearn for something new, especially in rap. We\u2019re yearning, we\u2019re tired. We don\u2019t wanna hear Drake complain about bitches anymore. We don\u2019t fucking care, he\u2019s 40. We need something different. I\u2019m here to try to provide and cultivate that as much as I can because rap fans are fucking bored.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Brooklyn native added: \u201cConscious rap has Nas, trap rap has Future, experimental rap is me. That\u2019s it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Drake is hard at work on a new album, which many are expecting to drop before the end of the year.<\/p>\n

OVO artist Smiley recently revealed that Drizzy has been working on the project all hours of the day.<\/p>\n

The Canadian rapper said on a live stream: \u201cEven at the \u2018Nokia\u2019 video shoot, during a break, he had a bunch of producers and he was just recording. He\u2019s in that crazy mode, right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Smiley also revealed that Drake disappeared during a recent party to instead focus on making his new album.<\/p>\n

He explained: \u201cWe\u2019re at a party and he was in the other room by himself eating pasta with wired headphones writing music while we have a whole fucking party going on. He\u2019s on a different mode right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

During a recent stream with Adin Ross,\u00a0Drake announced that he was working on an album.<\/p>\n

\u201cWorking on a new album right now,\u201d he said, before confirming that it will be a solo project. \u201cIt\u2019s a slap.\u201d<\/p>\n

He is also scheduled for an extensive European tour later this year with the rap superstar facing \u201cunprecedented demand\u201d for tickets.<\/p>\n

Drizzy will be performing at six dates in the UK across two cities as well as his groundbreaking appearance at London\u2019s Wireless Festival which will see him headline all three nights along with a vast array of special guests.<\/p>\n

Drizzy will also be venturing around the rest of Europe later in the year, visiting Paris, Milan and Berlin among other cities in September.<\/p>\n

The Canadian rapper will be assisted by frequent collaborator\u00a0PartyNextDoor\u00a0throughout the highly anticipated tour.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
