Macklemore\u2018s nanny was attacked by thugs when his home was burgled in Seattle.<\/p>\n

According to Seattle Police<\/a>, the rapp<\/a>er\u2019s home was broken into in the early hours over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Around 1AM on Saturday, police were notified about an alleged burglary by a caller who claimed she had been attacked with pepper spray and that the intruders were still in the home along with three children.<\/p>\n

It is not yet known if Macklemore was at home at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n

The nanny later told police that she had put the children to bed when she saw two men entering the property when one then attacked her with the spray.<\/p>\n

In a twist, she then said one of the men began helping her clean the spray out of her eyes.<\/p>\n

She claimed the man that helped her looked \u201cfearful\u201d.<\/p>\n

The police said that thousands of dollars worth of items were stolen from the house including jewelry, watches and shoes as well as the nanny\u2019s mobile phone.<\/p>\n

The nanny also claimed to have bitten one of the burglars before they ran out of the house.<\/p>\n

Video footage reportedly captured the men leaving the home.<\/p>\n

Macklemore is yet to comment on the incident or the nature of the items that were stolen.<\/p>\n

Macklemore has garnered a lot of attention recently over his support for the Palestinian cause during the ongoing conflict with Israel.<\/p>\n

The rapper has also been accused of being \u201canti-American\u201d by critics.<\/p>\n

He then explained his political stance: \u201cThe last 11.5 months of watching a genocide unfold in front of us has been excruciating on a spiritual, emotional and human level. I have been in utter disbelief with how our government is showing up at this moment in history. I don\u2019t think I\u2019m alone.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see dismembered kids in Gaza being pulled out of rubble, murder by U.S manufactured bombs. I see my own children in their lifeless bodies. I don\u2019t think I\u2019m alone. I listen to their parents scream and hear the deepest cries of pain and helplessness imaginable. I cry with them. I don\u2019t think I\u2019m alone.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd some days I wake up, see another couple billion dollars given to Israel, or another refugee encampment destroyed, or a father holding a limb from his martyred child, or another speech from a politician justifying the right of Israel to \u2018defend itself\u2019 while denying Palestinians the right to exist, and I say to myself\u2026. \u2018Fuck America.\u2019 I don\u2019t think I\u2019m alone.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
