Eminem reportedly kept JID\u2018s widely acclaimed verse on \u201cFuel\u201d in the vault for around three years.<\/p>\n

Released last year on The Death of Slim Shady<\/em>, JID claimed that he actually sent the rap legend his verse in 2021.<\/p>\n

Replying to a fan on X, in a since deleted post, the Dreamville rapp<\/a>er said he laid the verse \u201cYears before it dropped, whatever year Kellen Mond got drafted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Former Texas A&M quarterback Mond was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in 2021 and is referenced by JID on the record.<\/p>\n

Eminem recently picked up a couple of trophies at the American Music Awards courtesy of The Death of Slim Shady<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The rap legend caused quite an upset at the awards ceremony,\u00a0winning Favorite Hip Hop Artist and Favorite Hip Hop Album\u00a0over expected victor,\u00a0Kendrick Lamar.<\/p>\n

One person who was not on board with the decision was popular streamer, Kai Cenat.<\/p>\n

Cenat, who attended the awards live and even co-presented a gong, reacted with shock to Eminem\u2019s win.<\/p>\n

Livestreaming his reaction, Cenat said: \u201cLet\u2019s be real. I fuck with Slim Shady but let\u2019s be real.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cEminem is tough but let\u2019s be real though, gang.\u201d<\/p>\n

Em has also been branching back out into movies<\/a> and could be seen in the new trailer for Adam Sandler comedy sequel Happy Gilmore 2<\/em>.<\/p>\n

While his appearance is only brief and Em seems to be wearing a disguise, the rap legend makes a notable impression, calling the title character a \u201cjackass\u201d as they appear to start rowing.<\/p>\n

Sandler recently hyped up Eminem\u2019s appearance in the long-awaited comedy sequel during an appearance on\u00a0The Dan Patrick Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cEminem was cool, he came by, he was great. I\u2019ve known Eminem for a long time, he\u2019s a great guy and he came in and was funny as hell. I think we just hung out a day with Eminem and he just shot and shot and he was insane. [He] said a million things we can use and a million that we\u2019re glad we have him on tape.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
