Kanye West reportedly wants to attend Diddy\u2018s sex trafficking trial as a sign of support for the embattled media<\/a> mogul.<\/p>\n

According to CNN<\/em><\/a>, West has been in touch with Diddy\u2019s team about making app<\/a>earance at court as a show of solidarity with his occasional collaborator.<\/p>\n

CNN<\/em> report that West may attend when the defense begins to present their case which is expected to happen in the next week after the prosecution rests.<\/p>\n

They also report that West has grown close to Diddy\u2019s son King Combs and that the two have been working on music together.<\/p>\n

West has been the most high profile defender of Diddy ever since he was first accused of sexual assault and sex trafficking back in 2023.<\/p>\n

The controversial rapper\u2019s most recent comment about the Bad Boy Records founder\u2019s legal issues came when Kid Cudi testified against him in court.<\/p>\n

Cudi, who used to be signed to West\u2019s record label GOOD Music, accused Diddy of breaking into his house, hurting his dog and setting fire to his Porsche.<\/p>\n

West wrote on social media that he was not happy Cudi testified.<\/p>\n

On X, West wrote: \u201cI wish Cudi hadn\u2019t testified against Puff.\u201d<\/p>\n

West added: \u201cWe need to not be locked in white systems. Praying for Puff and his family.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Chicago native has also suggested Cassie was looking to extort Diddy with her allegations against her ex-boyfriend.<\/p>\n

\u201cDid Cassie extort Puff?\u201d he wrote on X back in February.<\/p>\n

West also went on to defend Diddy\u2019s assault of Cassie in a hotel corridor, the footage of which was leaked to the press.<\/p>\n

After calling for the disgraced record executive to be released from jail, West claimed that his 2016 assault was merely an act of \u201ctrue love.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen [a] man truly loves a [woman] he may express it in rage. I empathize with both sides,\u201d he wrote on X, before adding: \u201cYou have to truly be in love to get to the point of risking everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

West later began\u00a0selling the same hoodie that Cassie wore during the shocking incident and bragged about making over $30,000 in revenue \u2014 a move that led to him being called \u201cevil\u201d by social media users.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
