Aquaplus<\/strong> has announced the upcoming launch of a Steam and Nintendo Switch demo for June 26\u2019s ToHeart<\/em> visual novel remake on June 19 at 12 AM JST.<\/span><\/p>\n

The demo will feature the \u201cearly stages\u201d of the game<\/a>, with no ability to save progress.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The ToHeart\u00a0<\/em>remake gives the \u201cheartful love comedy\u201d a 3D makeover and includes the ability to listen to the original or new voices. It also offers support for English and Chinese (Simplified for the Japan-only Switch release, and both Simplified and Traditional for the Steam version)., in addition to Japanese The premise (via Steam) reads:<\/span><\/p>\n

Spring is almost here!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Strolling down a street paved with pastel tiles, the sun warms my back as pigeons flock by the roadside. Amid this everyday scenery, it\u2019s another ordinary morning, with just a soft whisper of spring on the wind.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a little warmer again today, huh?\u201d Akari pipes up as she turns her eyes to me, her bangs swaying gently in the breeze. \u201cI guess winter\u2019s over.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI guess it is,\u201d I answer offhandedly, and Akari giggles. I don\u2019t know why.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

ToHeart\u00a0is a \u201cheartful,\u201d heartfelt, and comedic multiple-ending visual novel.<\/span><\/em>
The protagonist is an utterly ordinary young man, but his friends Akari, Masashi, and Shiho make every day a happ<\/a>y one.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

As winter turns to spring and March turns to April, the wind also carries a whisper of love.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The original ToHeart<\/em> visual novel from\u00a0Leaf <\/strong>(Aquaplus\u2019 adult brand) was first released for PC in 1997 as an 18+ title, with the all-ages version and various PlayStation ports following later. The 1999 PlayStation 1 release introduced the opening song \u201cFeeling Heart,\u201d which is also used in the remake (but now performed by YURIKA<\/strong>\u00a0instead of\u00a0Masami Nakatsukasa<\/strong>).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ToHeart<\/em> inspired a 1999 TV anime<\/a>, a HD remaster Blu-ray of which will be included in a limited quantity premium edition (for both Switch and Steam). Another <\/span>ToHeart\u00a0<\/em>anime<\/a> was\u00a02004\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>To Heart \u301cRemember my Memories\u301c<\/em>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
