\n\tUma Thurman will take on an action scene any day, but when it comes to eating on camera, that\u2019s a different story.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Oscar-nominated actress made an app<\/a>earance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em> Tuesday night and said she realized after taking a DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) that she has anxiety when eating in front of other people.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDo you know that eating in front of strangers is one of the questions on the DSM?\u201d Thurman asks host Jimmy Fallon. \u201cDo you know what the DSM is? It\u2019s like one of these check things that psychiatrists do to find out what your neuroses are.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tAfter clarifying that she was determined to be \u201cjust fine\u201d after filling out the DSM, the Kill Bill <\/em>star noted that she gets especially nervous when eating while acting in a scene.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFirst of all, you have to do lots of takes,\u201d she explained. \u201cSecond of all, you don\u2019t pick what\u2019s on the menu, and you have to speak sometimes and swallow, and then you start to worry about choking because you don\u2019t want to be chewing when you say that line.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFallon then made an observation, quipping, \u201cBrad Pitt is always eating in every one of his scenes. He\u2019s eating an apple, he\u2019s eating an onion. He doesn\u2019t care what it is, he\u2019s just eating something.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile Thurman has accomplished quite a bit as a critically acclaimed actress, the Pulp Fiction <\/em>star said she has at least one more thing she wants to achieve in her career.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cA good eating scene should be on my bucket list of stuff I haven\u2019t nailed,\u201d The Old Guard 2 <\/em>actress said. \u201cIt\u2019s like skinny-dipping or something, like one of those things you know that you haven\u2019t done.\u201d<\/p>\n
